DrDoctor on CNBC

Last month I had the privilege to represent the DrDoctor team, being recorded by CNBC. The segment covered the NHS Innovation Accelerator(NIA), the Academic Health Science Networks(AHSNs), and DrDoctor – focusing on Technology, innovation and the changing face of health care.  The segment was aired last night, and can be found here.

I was introduced to CNBC a couple of months ago, along with Mike Hannay – Chair of the AHSN – by the NIA, and I was keen to be part of the programme. It quickly became clear through our conversation prior to filming that the producer had a deep understanding of the nuances involved in bringing innovations to the NHS.

This was a first for me – being on camera was both exciting and nerve-racking, but I think the clip came out looking great.
